Hi, I'm Nikki — the human behind Lovely Dudley. I'm Level 3 qualified, fully insured, and trained in canine first aid. I set up the salon in Eastbourne because I wanted somewhere dogs could be groomed without the rush, the stress, or the conveyor-belt feeling so many places have these days.
I work on a 1-2-1 basis, though I'm happy to accommodate multiple dogs from the same family attending together. I work at your dog's pace and comfort — not the appointment book's — and will happily slow things down for nervous dogs, seniors, or puppies who are still figuring out what all this is about.
From a full clipper-and-scissor groom to a quick nail trim — we tailor every visit to your dog's coat, breed, and temperament.
For poodles, poodle mixes, bichons and bichon mixes, and any other wool or curly-coated breeds. Includes coat prep, professional bath and blow dry, and styling with clippers and scissors to suit your dog's breed and lifestyle.
For Huskies, Collies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, Newfoundlands, and any other breeds with a double coat. Includes de-shedding, professional bath and blow dry, and trimming of key areas such as trousers and feathers.
For Labradors, French Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, and any other smooth-coated dog breeds. Includes de-shedding using professional tools and techniques, and a bath and blast dry to reduce shedding.
A proper clean and fluff-out. Perfect between full grooms or after a particularly muddy walk.
Quick, calm nail trims with plenty of patience for dogs who aren't keen on having their feet handled.
Silent and vibration-free, with no harsh brushing. Available as a stand-alone session, part of a course, or as an add-on to a groom.
